If you come back for suture removal, we will likely explain what to expect in the weeks and months after your surgery. For those patients that have had absorbable sutures placed, we make every effort to explain what to expect at the time of surgery.
For all surgery sites, we ask for patience to allow the healing process to occur. It can take weeks or months for a site to fully heal. We often ask patients to begin a massage routine approximately six weeks after the procedure. Please do not do this unless you have been instructed on the technique by Dr. Zivony, Myracle, or our surgery staff.
