My biopsy showed a skin cancer now what?

It is important to realize that there are several options for the treatment of skin cancer. Mohs Surgery is the gold standard for many types of skin cancer in certain situations. Mohs surgery is most often used for cancers on the head and neck. It may be also used and special situations elsewhere on the body, for example, if the cancer is large or has returned after prior treatment. If you have had a biopsy that shows skin cancer, and Mohs surgery has been recommended, Dr. Zivony or Myracle will be happy to discuss options with you, and determine if Mohs is right for you.
